DPRG – Deutsche Public Relations Gesellschaft e. V.
DPRG - a strong brand and the meeting-place for all PR practitioners in Germany

DPRG is the professional association for all PR practitioners in Germany. Founded in 1958, it has around 1,700 members working as communication experts in companies and other organisations, agencies and editorial teams, as well as academics and freelance practitioners. The DPRG is a home for everyone who works in - or has an interest in - the professional field of communication.

Since a merger with the 'Bundesvereinigung fuer innerbetriebliche Kommunikation (inkom), internal communication and employee information have developed into a powerful branch of the DPRG. It has a seat and an important vote on all DPRG committees. In federal (national) and state (regional) study groups, internal communication colleagues meet to exchange experiences and opinions. DPRG regularly organises seminars and workshops on internal communication. The Inkom Grand Prix awards competition is a particular highlight, in which employee publications are put forward every year for scrutiny by a highly competent jury. Within the professional communications community, the Grand Prix awards are held in high esteem both within Germany and beyond (www.inkom-grandprix.de). There is also great interest every year in the internal communications annual review, which is produced by DPRG in collaboration with an external agency.
