Description of the association
The Austrian association for internal communication is a non-profit organization for those involved in communication management. We have about 200 members in Austria and meet regularly every month, twice a year we have a three-day conference and a good working network to improve the level of internal communication and give our members help in their day-to-day business tasks. The association was founded in 1955. In those days our target audience included company journalists but today it is mostly communication managers whose brief goes well beyond just producing an employee magazine. The association has changed its names several times to reflect this transition.
